So
you want a sermon
planning guide eh?

Here is an
"original" approach to sermon planning that can bring both
variety and completeness to your sermon presentations. This guide begins
with the "big picture" so to speak. It gives a general theme
for each specific service during each month.
For
example, the sermon selected for the 1st Sunday morning will follow the
basic theme: "Our Life Together." The actual sermon may be
expository and may be devotional or supportive. (See
Sermon "tips")
Each
month you should try to select a text and topic that would fall under
this general heading of "Our Life Together" for the 1st Sunday
of the month. Neat eh? If you don't like this order try rearranging the
order. Since most months only have 8 Sunday services, I chose those that
deal with specific congregational issues for those rare 5th Sunday
months.
